DRAB NIGHTS
Dim and dingy my heart grows
His words were flaccid as petals.
He decorated my soul with garlands of flowers
Where is he?
The voice from his gut is mute forever.
My heart is cavernous,
I carry the load of a rock in my torso.
It was to be a sweet forever.
For days and decades, our love did abide.
Returning to the same hearts, day and day.
My spirit goes falling,
But with his orphans
I sit and unfold my heart, Articulating my dismal with painted emotions.
Scars lifelong like brain tattoos,
It was the finality of our sight on him,
Aaah! Rapacious grave!
