The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
We are running out of options,
Busy drinking different potions,
Trapped in the place we call home,
No more can we walk about or roam.
Caused by the deadly Covid19 ,
A period of self isolation and forced reflection,
All the things we used to do and abandoned,
And all the toys and fun kept in neglecting.
Both rich and poor kept behind gates,
Stacks of cash resting in peace in the banks,
Different shades of face masks on people,
Everyone looking like scorpion or subzero,
And finally country leaders have learnt to mellow.
