Sometimes i wonder why I write poetry...

Not to make silly
Little rhymes

Not to make people smile

No
I write poetry because
My emotions run wild

They flow from my crowded mind
On to paper

Leaving trails of dark and salty
Hatred

Towards myself?
Towards everyone else?

That they can't tell

I write poetry because its they only
Place my emotions call home
