A broken masterpiece
When a glass is broken
You don't tell its shattered pieces
To stick back together and heal
You don't tell it to forgive
So its bits and pieces can magically merge
Together and become whole again
When a glass is broken
You don't ask it to go through stages of healing
When a glass is broken, it's broken
You don't beg it to forget and move on
When a glass is broken it cuts, it scars
Vengeance from a broken glass
Is somewhat normal
Anger from a broken glass flows over
To those who've never even seen it,
Touch it and that's OK
This broken glass is unapologetic of its brokenness
These bits and pieces when merged together
Produce yet another masterpiece
With pieces faced inside out
It's unapologetic of its imperfections
