In a small city,
not renowned for much on the globe
A woman moaned
I like to think it was the early hours of the morning
Her moans pierced the morning serenity
Announcing the arrival of her son

Like his mother his loud wail announced him as well
It wasn't just a successful birth like any other for.. a King was born

I'd like to think thunder rumbled from the four corners of the universe
That fierce lightning cracked across the vast skies
Other times I think it must have heavily snowed
Or perhaps temperatures sky rocketed
Anything significant to proclaim the birth of a King
But the more I mull on it, the more I think the weather must have been like any other day
Well, Jesus is like that at times, no majestic entrances, unless it has to be

Today is like any other day
Some are celebrating the birth of a King, the birth of Jesus Christ
So I kept on thinking, a question filled my head, " the weather is like any other day, on a day like today Jesus Christ was born in the city of Bethlehem, can He be born in the city of your heart today?"
