the moon was shining bright in the sky
probably brighter then it had ever been
and surely brighter then my future

the air was cold
so was my destiny
the pain was predictable
but not my faith

the field was empty
and the time was short
emotions were high
and i was alone

they told everything will change
they lied isn't they
they said to me to do it
and i did it haven't I

the sound of the gun lasted few seconds in the air
but in my heart it was for eternity
a nation is built with arms of leaders
and blood of youth
some survive
and some die for someone else's good

I was the latter
or may be i should be the latter
for some i would be a brave soldier
for some a loyal slave of a dictator
and to some a traitor

but the reflection for me was clear
I'm just another casualty of a war
