My heart vessel
My heart is a vessel, worn and thin,
With cracks that let the light leak in.
It tries to hold the quiet night,
But slips away by morning light.
I gather moments, soft and frail,
Like petals scattered in the gale,
Yet one by one, they fall apart,
Through the empty spaces of my heart.
But by the grace of Allah, I am whole,
His mercy and love seep into my soul.
I'm grateful for all, both loss and gain—
In His wisdom, I find no pain in vain.
For whatever comes and gently goes,...
With cracks that let the light leak in.
It tries to hold the quiet night,
But slips away by morning light.
I gather moments, soft and frail,
Like petals scattered in the gale,
Yet one by one, they fall apart,
Through the empty spaces of my heart.
But by the grace of Allah, I am whole,
His mercy and love seep into my soul.
I'm grateful for all, both loss and gain—
In His wisdom, I find no pain in vain.
For whatever comes and gently goes,...
