you look so pretty and lovely ,
make everyone’s day daily ,
with brighter eyes and body sky

flashy and flickering feathers of yours,
owner catch every part of yours ,
what a beautiful princess I got !
looks too cute and tiny by ,
seeking door to be opened in sky

oh caged bird I am fond of yours ,
wanted you to feel safe and secure ,
your cage is just my heart pure ,
loving me is the only cure

don’t betray me thinking you are caged ,
you feel uncomfortable and raged ,
I am sorry just want to make sure
I am the only one who will take care of yours
wanted to be set free from all boundaries

oh caged bird I am all yours ,
don’t you feel uncomfortable in my arms ,
I know sometimes you bited me on my palm ,
motive is not to hurt you single time ,
your thoughts and actions hurts me every time .

oh caged bird don’t be insecure
it’s all done to make you feel comfy and protective ,
for the first time I called you loviee
then intentions were pure

not wanted you to set free in the sky ,
you gone too early without a bye ,
hoping you would be happy above ,
all my mind is about your stuff

oh caged bird I loved you too hard ,
it was just me who barked ,
questions arising everyday in a dark,
trodden my heart with your paws,
you’re set free take my applause

never return back to me
coz I forgot what it was ,
got my lesson made my heart pause ,
too mean and selfish ,
still wishing best to happen being lich

gone infamous in your company ,
as it was all fault of mine ,
you being chilling ,
and I am dying

I am suffering a lot ,
