Calvary
Jesus carried His cross up the hill to Calvary
Placed in between two criminals
crucified
One not believing that He was the Son of God
The other knowing why Jesus had died
God said not a bone in His body shall be broken
Not like the others you see
His Son accomplished the will of His Father
When He died upon that tree!
With the brutal beating and crown of thorns
Placed on His head so painfully
He never thought about giving up
Because He thought of you and He thought of me!
How did He manage to go through such pain
Because He loved us is what I know
He could have called ten thousand Angels
To come and let Him go!
But He stayed which was the only way
To save us each and every one
Jesus wants to share His home in Paradise
Because victory in Him is done!
I'm so grateful to be a daughter of our King
And knowing Eternity is forever more
He will be the first One I want to see
As I walk through Heavens door!
