Someone has asked you a question,
That feels far too personal,
It's only a first impression,
You might be completely wrong and irrational.....Who are you really? is what they asked.
"You've rattled on about your upbringing, your mom, your favorite color, genre of movies but who are you really?"
"The nerve",you say. And begin to describe your education and past jobs you've had. Prior goals and dreams not realized.
"But who are you really?"
"My relationships have been shit and have shaped me into this shell that you see....."
"But who are you really; beneath the shell?"
"Well, I don't know 🤔. That's too personal. Haven't even asked myself that yet. What you see is what you get. A butterfly,with wings still wet, trying to forget, my existence from before. Wanting to be seen as beautiful. Wanting to soar."
