Sometimes walking away hurts
But is often the best thing to do
Especially when you're scratching in the dirt
Finding all the thing that make you blue

Walking away you get to know yourself
Stripping away the ugly things people say
You slowly learn to love yourself
Each day becomes a bright new day

When walking away you find strength
Something you never knew was in you
Life becomes lighter with every breath
As you come to understand the real you

After walking away your spirit ascends
You begin to see what others can't
Becoming connected and transcended
A new song in your heart you chant
