The Orange House
In a land not far away,
Near an old house, where shadows play,
Stood an open ground, so serene,
With an orange house, so eerie, unseen.

A river cascaded, just beyond the bend,
With a forest, so creepy, where legends descend,
From our terrace, we gazed at the view,
Mountains standing tall, something strange, it's true.

An abandoned orange house, its secrets untold,
A giant tree stood, with secrets to behold,
Around the tree, a hand, massive and gray,
We peered closer, a sight that caused dismay.

In the window's darkness, two green eyes did gleam,
Monster's gaze, a fearsome, eerie dream,
Beside me, my puppy, white as can be,
Cried out in fear, sensing danger, you see.

Whispers echoed, tales of haunting told,
And now, I believed, something was bold,
Never again did I dare to glance,
At that chilling place, a ghostly dance.

Now memories fade, with time's gentle sway,
Yet that orange house, in my mind, forever will stay,
A cautionary tale, a mystery we shun,
Leaving legends of the haunted, never to be undone.
