Father, You're strange.
My father was a traditionalist-
Or atleast that's what he'd say ,
A little hole in the shirt doesn't hurt
It could run a decade ,
I sometimes wish I could understand what pain he was through
Or that he would understand what my pain was,
But ignorance was a bliss on heart,
How dare a father see his son as coward ?
How dare a son see his father as deranged?
He's a simple man,
A man with simple needs
A man of simple deeds
A man of simple thoughts
And a man I wish I was.
His hands were often empty for all the things he gave ,
And my hands were empty due to the lack there of,
I often looked upto him,
Mindlessly wondering if he knew the impact he had on me,
And most of the time, I didn't .
