Ignorance
He cried SOS as loud as he could
Even wrote the letters in the sand
It didn't take long for him to be heard
But he wasn't expecting to be ignored
They knew he was crying for help
But he was amongst a very big crowd
And so his words were disregarded
As if he hadn't said anything at all
He was left alone to drown
No longer able to make a sound
He was abandoned, left to die
And he didn't even understand why
