I can't afford to be depressed!!!
as I have mountains to climb
beautiful beaches to walk,
so many places to visit
so many things to talk

I can't afford to be depressed!!!
as raindrops are falling from the porch
the tea is still in the cups,
waiting for my friends to join
and laughing till we get hiccups

I can't afford to be depressed!!!
as taking a dip in water
heals me inside out,
birds and butterflies and bugs
with them I fly and I shout

I can't afford to be depressed!!!
as plenty of food on this planet
is waiting for me to be relished,
breeze and water free flowing
all that needs to be cherished

I can't afford to be depressed!!!
as this life is so precious
with people who love me around,
happiness is in your heart
not outside it is to be found....
