Stretching out my limbs
As much as I please
With no shred of fear
Of slowing down that gear
Leading me ahead
Doing poses skipped instead
As I'm dancing in the moonlight
On a stage lit up in its spotlight
Finally, all to myself
With no judgy elf
Watching my every step
Waiting for me to misstep.
I finally feel so light
Dancing in the moonlit night
Taking in the breath of freedom
Clearing the mind, tiresome,
And dance with the lantern flies,
As if flowing with the air
Being sprinkled in fairy dust,
All night long until the moonset.
