The Victorious King
#WritcoPoemPrompt40
Light the lamps for the king returns,
Victorious and valiant,
In an eternal battle with,
A ten headed enemy.

A beast and powerful was he,
With anger and a ferocious jaw,
He had slayed the innocent,
The world he tried to dominate.

The king was courageous,
Even though he was a heathen,
He had no weaponry,
Only a cross and a stone.

The war broke out,
In surroundings a cheering,
Of the angels and devil's,
Pandemonium was at it's heights.

"Fall down you devil! Surrender"
Said the brave king,
A loud chuckle from his mouth,
Along with arrogance and lust.

The Wiseman threw a stone,
On the monster's head,
The velocity was large,
For a huge catastrophe.

The enemy was defeated,
Without any sword or a gun,
only one thing he needed,
Only words and wise move.

The trumpets and the horns,
Prepare the chariot,
Make way for the king,
Let the confetties fall.

This is the day of remembrance,
The day of people's hearts and prayers,
The king was in god's hands,
The demon was trampled.
