We found a shoe on Mars,
A sight that left us amazed,
In the barren, red expanse,
A lone shoe, worn and frayed.
How did it come to be,
On a planet so far away,
Did some intrepid explorer,
Lose it during a long stay?
Or was it something else,
A sign of life unknown,
Perhaps an alien race,
Had shoes like our own.
We scanned the shoe for clues,
But found nothing out of place,
Just a shoe, out of context,
A symbol of our human race.
