Sea of Laughter
Sea of Laughter.
Sea of sorrow.
Which one will I see
Come dawn’s light tomorrow?
I don’t want to be
Swept under in the sea,
The mournful sea of sorrow.
Let me swim free,
Let me float free
In the laughing sea tomorrow.
Sea of Laughter.
Hear it laughing.
Sea of Sorrow,
Weeping endlessly.
Waves come crashing.
Can you hear them
Laughing and crying?
The sea of sorrow is flowing by.
And off in the distance there’s heard a cry
Saying, “Help me follow, help me see,
Help me walk across this sea.”
And the Sea of Sorrow will no longer be.
In the Sea of Laughter I will float free.
What is that I hear?
That laughing and crying I hear?
Is the ocean laughing at me,
Or is it crying in mourning?
Insanity now plagues my mind.
The laughing and crying from the sea
Pushes my mind to the edge of time.
Listen to me,
I say to thee,
Watch the Sea of Laughter.
Look at me,
Look to see
The rolling Sea of Laughter.
Insanity is all I see,
Clinching its talons and tearing through me.
Opening jaws, closing its claws.
Too many things here in darkened halls.
The Sea of sorrow is flowing by.
And off in the distance there’s heard a cry
Saying, “Help me follow, help me see,
Help me walk across this sea.”
And the Sea of Sorrow will no longer be.
In the Sea of Laughter I will float free.
