How can I start my day without getting dark?
It's like every morning I wake up
It's normal to see my mother crying,
Just by doing something right.

Is that how it was supposed to work?
Like, here's me living my life
Not even bothering to ask if she's alright
But trust me, I do care
I'm not just that strong to ask.

I'll start my day with all that
Overthinking, planning everything
I know that feels right...
I want to help her almost my whole life
But how can I do that if...
I'm laying in this hospital bed every single night.
