As I sit in a room filled with old memories, silently.
His hair is made of silver and his heart filled with gold; he has been my grandpa since I have known.
He represents strength and grace; his face remains kind despite his tough life.
Though he has experienced many events over time, what he knows, and his love have remained constant.
He engages those who are young by telling
them stories from long ago.
Every song he sings has a moral lesson in it.

Although he was frail, he was robust before. Nevertheless, he had always been a beacon of hope for others because he has never lost courage or faith in his people.
On his way to the park, he would pass by children playing,
They would say “hello!” each time he walked there taking his daily exercise.
A lot of things happened in his life,
some of them painful while others brought joy.

Nevertheless, what makes me want to weep with joy when I saw him were his eyes.
An an example of what human beings can become through kindness.
Despite all his faults, he loved everyone, including his enemies, and always forgave
them even if they had hurt him deeply.

My granddad had both grey hair and a
golden heart.
Those silver strands remind me that time has elapsed.
Each of them plays a unique role in linking generation after generation.
These fragile ties combine into a strong bond
of love.
My grandpa's hair color is one thing, but how loving he can be is another.
