Heading one direction seeking the hope of a brighter day

On this long and patchy road, we find ourselves on
We all feel trapped and confined
And we put our trust in the great minds of our generation
As they race against the clock looking to them to find a solution in time

Many buried their loved ones, friends, and families
A sadness now covers the earth
And with heavy hearts, they have to carry on
While keeping hope in the hearts for all that it's worth
