Addiction caused me nothing but pain
the years of unhappiness caused me disdain
drinking caused me years of distress
life back then was a hot ass mess.
So much pain lead me to drink
I closed my eyes and couldn't even think
the deeper and deeper in years of despair
I drank because I didn't even care.
