I'm trying to put first things first in my life.
For only then can my path be made straight.
In order to stroll in the garden,
First I must walk through the gate.
Just as the cart doesn't come before the horse,
And I cannot finish what I haven't begun,
If I want to abide in the Father's house,
I must first give my life to His Son.
He must be Lord over everything.
He must be in control of my life.
And if I want to finish the race,
I must be ready when He comes for His bride.
