I'm not asking you to do it
I'm not telling you to either
I'm just saying stop a while
and have yourself a breather.
I'm not saying you're wrong
nor condoning you're right
but just think for a moment
are you rushing in too light?
Take a pause, hold the doors
back up a step, retract claws
hold your tongue, be strong
deliberate, but not too long.
And then be committed to it
your choice whatever is done
as if you didn't rush full on in
you accept better the outcome.
