#Fate

Thought of living my life on my own terms,
Thought of doing only what made me happy,
Thought of making my life worthwhile,
Thought of helping others around me.
But life is testing my patience on many levels,
It's trying to knock me down and make me give up.
But I'll keep trying unless I succeed,
I'll keep trying unless I reach my destination.
Determination and resilience,
Courage and hard work,
Persistence and good will,
A few sprinkles of good luck,
A bit of fortune and lots of passion,
A little sacrifice and a bit more patience,
Taking care and loving myself,
Being grateful for the bare minimum.
Are just a few basic things all of us need,
Along with a little faith and confidence,
Enough to show my fate that it's dealing with the wrong person,
And that I'm braver even if it tries to spoil my mission.
Our past deeds aren't in our hands,
Our already written fate can't be controlled by us,
But what can be done is with the present,
Maybe we can work a bit harder to reach our goals.
Maybe one fine day fate will bow down,
And not pull us back anymore,
Maybe one day all of us shall meet somewhere,
Happy, and far away from our town.
