Do you see?
Do you see the pain behind my eyes?
Do you hear the truth within my lies?
When I say im fine and nothings wrong,
Do you see that I've been breaking all along?
Do you hear the hurt within my voice?
Do you see the despair within my choice?
To choose to battle everyday,
Fighting my demons I wish would go away.
There's a Ray of hope, that I can see,
But why does it seem so far away from me?
I'm trying to be strong and keep on going,
Trying to stop my true emotions showing.
But it gets hard and I am tired,
Feeling empty and uninspired.
I try my best and that ill continue to do,
Because tough times don't last but tough people do!
