A mother shares in our laughter,
Tries to aid us in fighting out fear,
Carries our pain when it can be too much to bare,
In our saddest times, our hurt they beg us to share.

I thought that getting you flowers would tell you what I wanted to say,
Instead I planted words of love in my head, they bloomed with nutrients from my heart and here they are,my own flower bouquet.
If I ever believed that love could last forever,
The reason for this because of you dear mother.

You may not have been able to give me every little thing,
But I am thankful, for you provided me with roots and wings.
Roots to become the best that I can be, wings to soar throughout ,pain, pleasure or anything hurtful people may say,
