Live in the moment
Why are memories more appreciated than the moments? Isn't it insane to crave absence, ignoring the present? Is it a common trait to realize the importance of the present in absence? And the past in the present?

In the absence of choice, we think we could make a choice, and when given a choice, we fail to make a choice; it's like the toss of a coin. No one knows what lies on both sides. I felt betrayed by my intuitions, thinking I could be set free by my emotions, but feelings are just a mental cage keeping us from our destination.

It's easier to see in the darkest of nights because the eyes are just a mirror for the mind. The best gift we can as humans is our attention, so you either appreciate the moment or hold onto memories because it's easier to make a choice when you let go of the options.
