Oil and water don't mix
One is colder, one is hotter
But you drown if you have
A little too much water

Fire and ice, polar opposites
They can't exist together
But fire is destruction
And ice means bad weather

Too much of a good thing is bad
Too little only equals misery
Its a balance impossible to keep
Kind of reminds me of you and me

Your flame burns bright each day
But mine will take me much higher
Apart, we're sufficient for warmth
Together we create a deadly wildfire

Too much ice and the roads freeze
Too little and winter will never be
You create the right amount, and I
My will is nearly impossible not to see

I've always heard that opposites attract
But those alike belong together more
Sunlight and night are both essential
World's have been torn apart by the Similar
