It's shady under this tree. Wish it could shade what's locked inside of me. It's as if I'm drowning , frowning as I try to fake a smile. Noone notices it's been fake for a while . I've cried to many tears , healed over and over with all the passing years. I vowed to never be defeated ,or mistreated... again.
