the victory of the cosmos (a sequel to armoured cosmos)
NOTE: Make sure to read my poem ‘armoured cosmos’ first before reading this one as this is a sequel to that poem.

Time has wielded its power again,
I used to navigate the night with an armoured cosmos.
I used to scour for a phare near the sight of the horizon
To guide me out of the whimsical tides.

But in the very dark,
I perceived hope flickering,
Your closure was ablaze as a flame
In the heart of the obscurity of folklore.

From the very moment our eyes met,
I lay beneath the clover leaves
Of autumn, blessed by luck.
The echoes of folklore distorted
And disappeared in the air between us.

My cosmos no longer needed to be protected
As if it were a heirloom.
And so, when you came around,
I let the armour fall.
