Jovial was his name and charisma sang his praise,
Too true and kind screenplayed on his face,
He showered light and love and peace,
No doubt a gallant knight never before seen,
He could go a mile and an extra,
He lived with perpetual happiness,
Always bouncing this baby or,
Playing kick with that child,
The ladies were starry eyed,
The young men drunk on envy,
He was spry suave savvy rolled in one,
The view was much obscured, tightened by the veil,
Until his facade shattered like a broken spirit,
And the wee one's life hung in the balance,
By the time he was found.
