SHE being a girl
Innocent and confident
Assured that the world will welcome her
Wants to be Independent
Going out alone, enjoying her liberty
Even late at night
Purchases all cool dresses
After parlour and makeover
With hair loosened and a sleeveless dress
Wishing everybody will decently appreciate
“Wow! You look beautiful"

Is Afraid
Suddenly she hears the news of recent Murder after Gang rape, sexual assault
Her parents worried
She tries to calm them by saying "I am strong"
But inside she herself trembling

Has given up the idea of party late night
Given up her sleeveless dress
Decided wearing the so called "all covered clothes"
Lost her Confidence, independence
Her will to enjoy liberty
SHE now, only AFRAID

Asking herself is now she safe?
Will now nobody will attack her?
The answer comes NO!
SHE SAD AT HER VULNERABILITY
This Society is not as welcoming as she expected it to be.
