Unannounced
With a sound
Gushing from the ground
So pleasing and good
Well meaning in mood
In sacrifice I stood
So I gave out
A silence aloud
As my feelings sprout

My heart was eager but the mind
Red flags on rewind
But the heart is blind
It can't see nor bind
Just flat and proper
And anytime your name
Winds and pops up
I smile and go insane
Like my life's germane

I have hugged the soil flat
Even the ants on me spat
No more smiles and clad
Just my wigs and stud
My mind is broken
But it warned,
with great and token
Whilst the heart claimed stroken,
With the heart pierced and shuttered,
The mind is pricked and buttered.

You've shown today
That anytime we hugged
Was my pit I dugged

But not astray
