The Dream
#WritcoPoemPrompt37
In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams...

In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams...

I find myself in a sphere of twilight,
A place where truth and illusions ignite,
Within this dream, reality seems to sway,
Where whispers of truth and lies hold sway.

Through the veils of slumber, I dive,
Exploring depths where shadows thrive,
A domain woven with strands of verity,
Yet entwined with echoes of uncertainty.

Here, reality dances with a mystic grace,
Like moonbeams shimmering upon space,
I journey through corridors of perception,
Unraveling the secrets of divine connection.

In this ethereal domain of my own design,
I glimpse fragments of truth intertwined,
They flicker like stars in a boundless sky,
Revealing glimpses of life's reasons why.

But with each truth, a paradox unfurls,
As the mind spins and the vision twirls,
The boundaries blur, as dreams enmesh,
And reality takes on a hazy flesh.

Oh, what a dream within a dream it seems,
Where reality mingles with elusive themes,
I question the essence of what I hold dear,
Caught between whispers of hope and fear.

In this liminal space, I find solace and pain,
As my heart yearns for answers to explain,
The enigma of life, its beauty and strife,
And the paradox that weaves through its rife.

So, I drift in this tapestry of shadows and light,
Embracing the fragments with all my might,
For truth may be elusive, but I perceive,
That in dreams, realities intertwine and conceive.

In the quietest part of the night,
When darkness and light intertwine their might,
I ponder the dreams that haunt and gleam,
And learn to unravel life's intricate theme
