REGRET DAIRY
In the pages of my regret diary
I write my thoughts and fears
Of all the things I've done wrong
And all the wasted years
I see the moments I should have seized
And the chances I let go
The words I should have said
But keeping them to myself, oh no!
I feel the pain of lost love
And the ache of broken hearts
Of friendships that could have been
But I let them drift apart
In the pages of my regret diary
I see the paths I should have taken
The dreams that should have been pursued
But were left behind, forsaken
But on these pages, I also find
The wisdom that comes with pain
The lessons learned from past mistakes
That I'll never make again
So though my regret diary is filled
With stories of mistakes and woe
It's also a reminder of the journey
That has made me who I am and will grow.
