In the world he’s known as steel,
A man made of tough stuff,
But behind closed doors, he reveals
A side that’s gentle and soft.

His walls may be thick,
His voice may be gruff,
But with me he’s quick
To show his love, more than enough.

In private moments, he lets go,
His tough facade fades away,
And in his arms, I know
I am held in tender sway.

So to the world, he may seem rough,
But to me, he is gentle and kind,
A man who may act tough,
But in his heart, softness I find.
