Breathing Life Into the Moment
A feeling took hold of my soul,
As if a new world did unfold,
A spark of passion, pure and whole,
That left my senses to behold.
My heart beat loud and strong within,
A rhythmic dance that did begin,
And though my body felt the spin,
I knew this moment was a win.
The world around me came to life,
A kaleidoscope of colors rife,
And in that moment, I did dive,
Into a world that felt like jive.
I felt a warmth within my chest,
As if a new life had been blessed,
And though my mind was put to the test,
I knew that feeling was the best.
The sun was shining bright and clear,
A gentle breeze did brush my ear,
And in that moment, I did hear,
The music of life oh so dear.
And now when life seems bleak and low,
I think back to that moment's glow,
And feel the fire within me grow,
As if a new chapter did bestow.
