Standing Alone
Standing amongst a crowd of monsters,
That's how it seems.
I stand here trembling in my own skin,
Insecure and shy.
My mouth opens to speak but nothing comes out.
Strangers come and talk,
Leaving with blank faces.
I used to have confidence and trust others.
I am lonely and scared.
I stand invisible amongst everyone.
I stand alone.
