In a world where evil and cruelty hold sway,
Selfishness rampant, kindness astray,
We must rediscover peace's gentle way,
And show our gratitude as we humbly pray.

Have faith and lend a helping hand,
Let's be the difference, let love expand,
Not hollow words, but actions grand,
Teaching our children to understand.

Lead by example, set the right tone,
In every interaction, love must be shown,
For they are watching, from seeds they've grown,
Let's nurture empathy, let it be known.

In anger, hold your tongue, release the heat,
Embrace forgiveness, let bitterness deplete,
The past behind, with hope we shall meet,
Inhale the present, exhale and feel complete.
Seek guidance, divine wisdom we crave,
Embrace compassion, let hate be waved,
Silence the pain, be the one to save,
Never ignore those who need a brave.

Violence's grip, we must release,
Embrace the goodness, let hatred cease,
Be better versions of ourselves, increase,
Our potential to offer love and peace.

Remember, the change does not lie afar,
It dwells within, a guiding star,
In every action, in how we are,
The change starts with us, near or far.
