Mistakes
Mistakes, oh how they plague our lives,
Like a swarm of bees, or a thousand knives
They cut through our hearts with a painful slice
And fill us with a feeling that's not very nice
We stumble and falter, we trip and we fall
As we wander through life, making mistakes, big and small
Some are like boulders that block our way
We try to move them, but they're there to stay
Others are like weeds that grow and thrive
Choking our hopes and dreams, and leaving us alive
But mistakes...
