Searching I hope to find beautiful thoughts inside my mind,

You may have not been my father by Blood but you were definitely my father by heart,

As the years gone by and you watched me grow,

It kind of left your heart ache cuz you always thought where did my little girl go,

We had a great Bond,

You found so many ways to make me smile when I wore a frown,

You had a love that lasted years-long,

For it was Everlasting and you never gave up faith,

You were always there with a helping hand,

I loved how you showed me that you'd always care,

It was the little things that meant so much to me,

It was a thoughtful gesture or a kind and loving touch,

Although the fights were wrong,

The truth is you became a dad that I never had,

You gave unselfishly and you were there without a doubt,

You were always loving and kind,

You have a beautiful heart,

You put us first even when it never counted you,

That's why I love and appreciate you with everything that I am,

Because you have been there from the start,

You're not like the others you're very brave and you don't depend on anyone,

Although over the years some people also said that you were never my real dad,

But I disagree because to me you always were,

You made everything seem okay and easy,

All the struggles and the pain that I've gone through you were there to help and you never once complained,

And if anyone were to ever ask me what a real father is I will and always Willsay that you were a real father,

You made my life better just by being in it,

You were always a father like figure that I always needed around,

You never gave up on me or anyone else around you,

When we fought we always forgave each other,

Because forgiving someone is what reasonable people do and that's what needed to be done,

Thank you for coming into my life,

You came into my life and made it better by just saying I love you,

The day you came into my life was the day that you showed me that love never had boundaries or biology,

My heart aches to this day to know that someone so brave and strong is fading away,

But I promise you this I will always keep a good word for you and keep you in my heart,

The day you came into my life it was your choice to love and care for me and you chose to always love and care for me,

I'm going to miss you terribly,

But I know when you do go you're going to be somewhere better,

You had faith in helping me and now I have the same for you,

You deserve so much more then I could ever possibly give,

You were really trustworthy,

And from what it's worth I just have to say I'm sorry for everything I put you through when we fought,

But know this you have always been an amazing dad,

I love you.
