The Red Umbrella
As I walked through the clouds of darkness,
Small lights flickered in the droplets.
That's where I saw you dancing with a red umbrella,
Embracing the serenity of life with care.
Was it love at first sight?
Or was it an unrequited love I desired?
Either way, it was beautifully crafted,
The soul that I long admired.
That's when you turned and smiled at me.
I was awestruck to see the golden rays in you;
They were magnifying your beauty,
Like a pearl that shines after the blissful rain.
I want to capture this moment forever in my heart.
This walk was worth it under the droplets of pearls.
Its been 20 years, and I still remember:
That was the day when I first saw you under the black clouds and sun.
You still hold the beauty and serenity of heart.
Today is also the monsoon season.
That same nostalgia struck me hard,
When I saw you dancing again in the rain with a red umbrella.
