She closed her heart forever and locked it in the shelf;
When he said he didn't want her and walked away himself.
If she loved the players and if the players loved the "game";
And if the game was "Love", there's no one she could blame.
He said, he'll reply soon, then why does it say "Seen 3 days ago"
And if it broke her heart, then why did she go with the flow?
At times like these, she felt only if she had Time Machine;
Then, she could've seen what he did at May Thirteenth.
Her friends always warned her about this vindictive guy;
Well, maybe she believed in him, so she believed his lies.
Plates were broken and mirrors were ruthlessly smashed;
He became short tempered and he became abusive at last.
She drove herself insane and last night on the train;
She saw him with her again and he had nothing to explain.
He left her alone in dark and she became a drug addict;
And if the drug was "Overthinking", it made her psychotic.
She was ready to surrender herself and give up on her dreams;
But then she realised, that nothing is bigger than her self esteem.
This can happen to men too, so stand up for yourself if you are in an abusive relationship;
Love is something that goes both ways and is just not a mere game of dictatorship...!
