Who can deny the promises of life?
Who has never heard life making so many promises?
Who can deny the desires that life has to offer?
Who has never desired what life has to offer?
We all, wait in eager expectation and anticipation of what life has got to offer us. We make so many promises in life.
We aim at achieving good things only.
Everyone desires to do what is right in life
Because that is what there is to in life.
But who could have thought that,
aside from good, there is bad and aside from right, there is wrong.
This has made life difficult and complicated.
We have become like a boat in the middle of the sea
which gets tossed by every wave.
And when the wave becomes too strong,
the boat sink into the deepest depths of the sea where life matters not.
There is nothing to hope for
Nothing to hold on to
And nothing to make you proud
We do what we hate doing
We feel controlled by Something we dislike,
Something we hate but what can we do?
What can we say?
What can a servant say against a master?
All we have to do is to cry our emotions out
With the hope that, someone might hear us,
Pity us, have mercy on us
And redeem us from these shackles,
These twists and turns of life.
Life indeed is a hard nut to crack.
