As I gazed up at the deep, black sky,
A shining shooting star caught my eye.
In that moment, the first thing,
That came to my mind
Was the image of your face so bright.

That night I wished for you to be mine,
But before I could make the wish,
The shooting star faded away
My wish went unfulfilled, yet I only wished
For your happiness with or without me.
