I may be born different,
And my actions may be inconsistent.
My face may look different,
But my feelings are innocent.
Someone may be similar to me,
But there could be no one exactly like me.
Just like you, I laugh and weep.
Just like you, I need love and heed.
And just like you I can dance, draw and speak.
Although I may look and sound exotic,
But my actions actually have sense and logic.
I may not be perfect in the eyes of other men,
But to my family, I am one of the few special children.
They may judge me by my standards,
But I will never be one of these bastards.
I believe I was sent here by God, to feel cherished and protected,
And to live my life limitless and loaded.
We may all have the same purpose,
But we may not have the same start.
