Life's
not all roses and velvet petals
there's thorns in your side
depending
if you're the cautious kind
if you've secateurs ready
and you handle with care
gardening gloves on
three layers thick
those thorns
ain't gonna prick you
oh no, you're well-prepared
you prune them near the roots
there's no sharp thorns there
job well done
you rise to admire
to smell the sweet rose aroma, then
LOOK OUT!!!!
you tripped and fell
over the lawn mower
landing in your bed of roses
a thorn in your side, smell the roses
pick yourself up - Ouch!!!
