Standing at the edge of reality and disbelief,
A broken soul shivers deep,
Was torn and shattered on the reef,
Can't utter a single grief,

A life that is stiff,
That's drifted in a sniff,
A myriad of chances to engulf,
Lost by giving in to strife,

How much toll it's gonna take?
To survive the fake,
Is it worth the cake?
Only if I could make,

Let the past be stricken,
Let the unknown be forsaken,
Face the battle that's a given,
Never to become a Laden,
Begin it now, Be a Beacon!
